Spurs levelled because Arsenal took their foot off the gas and believed that they had the game all sown up. They played well too, don't get me wrong.

The Redknapp issue is a bit of a red herring though IMO. It's doubtful he had time to bring that much to the table and turn Spurs into giant killers.

I think Arsenal just got too cocky and paid the price.

Spurs (like Newcastle) are a team in serious crisis and Liverpool should exploit that on Saturday and attack them from the off. Get an early goal and knock them off balance.

Depending on who is up front, I can see this as a possible 2-0 or thereabouts.

No decent cover in front of their defence means Gerrard should run the show for us.

3-1 win.

Agreed.

Tricky fixture but should be a very open game.  Spurs goalkeeper, Gomes, has jelly arms so I would be surprised if he doesn't gift us a goal or three!

I'm going for a 2-0 victory to the reds.

personally i dont think spurs will score at all. i think 1 nil at half time, followed by a further 2 goals in the second half

3-0

Spurs are on a high and thinking their troubles are over. We'll give them a wake up call on reality.

I'm hoping if I fear enough it will happen that it won't. Unusually this season I've been even more nervous during some games than any other season. I guess it's just tension building up from the start and that we're unbeaten, anticipating it will end like it usually does.

I was so nervous during the Chelsea I stayed perfectly still for all but a short while during the game. Because when I changed position Chelsea had a good spell so I quickly changed back (daft, superstitious and I've not ever done that before)

Bad omen for the cup game, I was trying Liverpool for a clean sweep on CM last night. Drew spudz in the League Cup (away, except the 3rd round) and lost. I decided to try something else instead, Saborio's contract was running out so I agreed a January transfer, cancelled that and signed him on a free the next summer! (worth £8.25m once signed) So I "went on holiday" and let the computer play out most of the season, got knocked out of the CL last 16 by Olympiakos, but I interrupted my holiday and found Liverpool were a few points behind the mancs with a game or two in hand. A combination of quick results and controlled games and Liverpool were Champions.

Anyway, back to reality and the game :

We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose
We're going to f in lose

Repeat until sod's law has the desired effect

i notice every time LeeJ predicts a 4-0 win, we win regardless of the scoreline.

Just think this will be the game where our little bit of luck we have had runs out - we havent and arent playing on all cyclinders and think this is the game where we wont be able to grind a win - and i think as bad as it is to get beat it may wake the players up a bit .
