Sissoko i think his days are numbered, Mascherano is an all round better defensive midfielder.

Well, there is no question who is our most limited central midfielder in the squad. Just can't get around the fact that Sissoko still can't pass, so he can't be a holding mid protecting the back 4. But he can't score a goal even of his life depended on it either.
With Gerrard, Masch and Alonso all ahead of him his starts will be limited if he stayed.
And since he has been a starter for most of 2 seasons I don't think he'll be happy playing second fiddle and getting league cup games and such.
