I have it on good authority Sinama-Pongolle is speaking to Real Betis and Lyon.
A deal for Simao is nearly complete but the clubs are struggling to reach an agreement although an agreement is reached with the player. I can't say i approve of this signing as i think he's very average.
Apparently Rafa wants to bring in a striker however this won't happen untill summer and he is looking at E'too. Baring in mind Henry is going to leave Arsenal this might not be so unrealistic.
I can honestly say i haven't heard a word about Agger other than Benitez had a look but isn't sure.
I have also heard Fernando Morientes could leave in the summer instead of if not aswell as Cisse.

pongolle is on his way to betis as part of the joaquin deal.Benfica want to much money and rafa has gone for joaquin now. This will be on the box this afternoon.

So we are out of the Simao deal and are defo going for Jaoquin, this will be on sky sports news tomorrow yes, if true i take back about 50% of stuff ive said about you! By the way who is your Source??

I don't know if 7 Kewell is right, but the lad has the guts well placed (Spanish expression for valiant guys) to say that.

Can't see it happening. Benfica's chairman dismissed the possibility of selling Simao, he's injured at the moment and thats why they brought in another winger.

Like Stu said Simao is average and I would far prefer Joaquin depending on the price tag

I think we need someone who can play right right away and Rafa had probably tried to get Joaquin but were not able to. Simao is probably the best choice Rafa could come up with and he is better than anyone we have right now. The fact that he can play both left and right create more flexibility in the summer transfer market.
