Potential challengers to Chelsea? Going a bit overboard as they were when they said that we were in a crisis. This is not a sprint, it's a marathon.

I think AB's right, I'd love to be wrong, but I think it's a bit early to start thinking Liverpool are serious contenters for the League this year.

ooh hawky where ya been ?

I agree, but what is interesting is the tone has changed towards Liverpool and Benitez. They are taliking of Liverpool in the same breath as the other three.

BTW got any wax :D

I rather they didn't, I'd prefer the underdog tag as it doesn't put pressure on us. Remember our CL season, not many people gave us any chance of winning it even after knocking out the likes of Juve and Chelsea.

:oh: oh your such a spoil sport AB  :D

I think due recogition is required for the man in the armour.. Benitez is doing a 'gallant' job and his ability and incredible tactical genius is being talked of now.

Lets face it most people still see our triumph in Europe as a fluke, despite how well we played in the comp and who we beat to triumph. That tag of European Champion, is now 'for some' suiting Liverpool cos of our form in the league and our position. For those of us who believed in the genius.. well it was only a matter of time.

and lets face it .. until he came on the scene did ya here the term.. 'High Tempo Game..'  :D

The only way to stay "underdog" is to not win anything.  We've got to start playing under pressure sooner or later - now's a good a time as any.

Maybe not being able to play as 'favourites' was part of the reason we couldn't win after a CL game last season?
