Josemi certainly looks the genuine article his distribution is intelligent ,and as well as his forays up field he holds the line efficiently  and never seems to be out of position.    Plus he is more than just a competent crosser of the ball and I don’t think Ive seen a weak point in his game thus far ,and that bodes well for the future .
:D :D :D

Delighted to see a player in the Tommy Smith mould in the team.  We've lacked a bone cruncher since the Smith / Souness days.  Welcome aboard Josemi.  Don't bother learning english while your here.  We understand your language loud and clear.

Dont think any full back has come in and look like he has been there for ages since Rob Jones. Looks like a quality signing. Very pleased with him to say the least. :)

I think we can get more good players such as Josemi, that will would REALLY help us out this season.

He's a quality addition. I've seen him play a bit in Spain and he was rarely beaten. Showed on Sat that he's adjusting well to the faster pace.

I may add that I have a lot of concern with Hyppia and Dudek. Hyppia really has fallen away the past couple of seasons. Not challenging Kanoute in the air that led to Defoess goal is just unbelievable. He's slow on the turf, but if he's not winning headers, he's got to go. Dudek yet again embarrassed himself. Frign cover your near post numnuts. Get Kirkland FFS

We need a goalkeeper that is going to secure the position for the next 5-10 years, the way Clemence and Grobbelaar did for us and Seaman & Schmichael did for Arsenal & Man U.  Kirkland is the best candidate.

Also, at least one world class centre-half is urgently required.

Kirkland if he can stay injury-free.

i think he's done very well so far and he has impressed me with his commitment and agression. He's not afraid to make a challenge which is good to but he's also quite athletic and comfortable on the ball. :)

yeah! have to agree Josemi has settled very well.Certainly likes to have the ball, not afraid of putting in a tackle and will do well when the position in front of him is sorted.

Josemi is fearless, he will tackle anyone with the ball, the only thing that bothers me is giving away too many free kicks. Mostly we are not good defending at set pieces.

I have to agree with this criticism of Hyppia. He showed this weakness in the US as well.  :O
