Yep, looks like Drogba's a bargain buy alright! Whichever player you prefer - and I don't really think there's much between them, you be mad not to agree that £14m for Cisse is better value that £26m for Drogba.

in the current climate, there's the transfer market and chelsea's transfer market. the two are very different. clubs who are under pressure to sell to chelsea will try and get as much money out of them as possible just because they can. drogba for 26 million is a joke.

the fact that Cisse has been talked about for a few years now as the next great france striker says alot- and suggests he's not just a flash in the pan. Drogba has only caught the eye (of English football fans) this season and mainly in the Uefa cup so he surely has more to prove.
Its crazy how Chelsea can up a bid from 18M to 27M just like that, Marseille must be loving it- i'm sure Chelsea could of got him for 20M or just over - but then again they probably don't care.

ive been saying this for ages cisse is the man, he has been chased in the last 2 years by valencia, barcalona, real madrid, inter, and then chelsea offered him the earth 12 months ago, but he told them all no i gave my word to liverpool thats the kind of guy you want to wear the bird, drogba is good but the french god cisse is better...

Cisse all the way. He had done it with more consistency than Drogba and younger. Most importantly, Cisse is a LFC player! Come to think of it, we either got Cisse for a bargain or Chelsea just simply overpaid for Drogba. Probably the later.
