4th is far more important for the club than the Europa league although a trophy would be nice. dont see us getting 4th now though..... i wanted us to keep the draw for the chelsea game. we blew it at Brum. Now we need to win our 5 remaining games.
TBH, i dont think we'll get either.

4th.
Winning the ropey league just papers ( JUST ) over the huge cracks in this club.
If we do win it which i highly doubt as benfica will beat us at Anfield imo, Rafa will claim that despite being diabollically poor in the league/CL this season, his team performed well.
Doesn't really matter anyway as Benfica will put Rafa out of a job this week. The Birmingham fiasco served as his notice, Benfica will show him the door out.

Well........ it looks like we financially addicted to the CL so you can only assume that Rafa and the players (simpletons though they be) understand that.

I would rather if i HAD to choose win a trophy.
Big night in Hamburg and get the first trophy for a few seasons.
It would be a huge loss financially and hard to take watching next seasons champions league but i would prefer to have a great night and a trophy in the cabinet.
I can see why alot would choose fourth though.

The Europa league is clearly a second rate trophy (only in it because we got dumped out of CL).
Winning it but missing 4th wont' generate the money or the glamour to entice top players here in the Summer.
The finances of the club will take a big hit if we are not in the CL making it more difficult in future years.
I really think if Man City qualify for it, with their money, the days of us being top 4 are over.
