They sound organised and not some smack head scallys looking for a few bits to sell on for a quick fix, the fact they did it while Alex was in the house shows the lengths they are prepared to go to if it had been Stevie that had disturbed them who knows what would have happened !

I have watched enough Columbo to know the Police should be checking with all the victims so far to see if they have had decorators, workmen, satellite engineers or any other similar work carried out on their houses by the same firms.

Of course its organised and by the club arranging security now to protect there houses, Who do you think are gonna be the security firm the same :censored: people who were organising the breakins

They need to employ a team of Ghurkas while they are away, anyone stupid enough to try to get past them deserves everything that they will get, those guys are hard as nails.

I use to deliver to a house in Macclesfield that was owned by some multi millionaire and he had a Ghurka living in a house bigger than mine at the front gate leading up to this blokes HUGE house that he had built from scratch, this guy was about 5' 5" but you just knew by looking at him that he would snap your neck as soon as smile at you ???

I can't see why people are saying that the club is doing nothing about these burgularies.  With Rafa's rotation no self respecting theif is going to have a clue who is gonna be at home or not!

This is outrageous - someone in the city knows who these are and must turn these 'bitters' in. Any more of this and it could become an issue for players in the future coming here

Hes well protecting himself now

Steven Gerrard's SAS protection squad

England soccer star Steven Gerrard has hired a crack team of former SAS soldiers to protect his family after a terrifying raid.

The 27-year-old Liverpool captain took drastic action after his wife Alex Curran was threatened at their £4.5million home while he was playing in France.

The security men, whose regimental motto was Who Dares Wins, are now guarding Gerrard's home around the clock.

A friend said: "Stevie just felt that something had to be done to protect his wife, himself and his children. The safety of the ones he loves was the priority. These guys will now be there for him 24 hours a day. The family can sleep soundly." Alex confronted four masked men after hearing noises downstairs at their mansion in Formby, Merseyside, last month.

As daughters Lilly-Ella, three, and one-year-old Lexie slept, Mirror columnist Alex came face-to-face with the gang. They threatened her with violence before escaping with a large haul of jewellery.

Gerrard was told of the robbery at the end of a Champions League game against Marseille.

Alex, 25, was still in a state of shock when her husband arrived back home in the early hours.

The player was clearly upset the next day when he talked about his wife's ordeal. He said he was just relieved that no one was hurt but friends said he was angry his home had been raided while he was away.

A friend said: "Steve was livid. It was the work of cowards, hitting a property where they must have known there was only his wife and children there.

"Stevie was just the latest of several Liverpool players whose homes had been raided while they were playing away.

"The club started to look at ways to provide cover for the players' houses whenever they were away.

"But Stevie realised he needed something a bit extra and that's how he came to get involved with these specialist guys."

My advice to Curran is stop goin round flashing what youv got love . yer not a celebrity

If it's true there were four masked burglars then it has to be everton fans, only they would need FOUR to rob a woman and her young children!
