I can't believe some people saying that they would prefer to play Chelsea as the first game in the new stadium.

Any other team bar chelsea if you ask me, prefer Forest over them any day. Ideally it should be Everton, that would be immense.

Stand names:

1. The Spion Kop.
2. The Bill Shankly Stand.
3. The Hillsborough Memorial Stand. (Have a white 96 with an eternal flame either side fashioned into the seats, just as "L.F.C." is now.)
4. The Bob Paisley Stand.

No need for anything else.

great! i would like to see the curent team at the time vs liverpool fc legends

me mate told me who is a stward at anfield  there will sixty thounsand and 96.
the 96  seats will never be used as it will be for the people who died at hillsbougher

I would recommend placing 96 small bronze flames embedded in the ground (like plaques featuring the name of the person lost) behind the goal line from one corner to the other just in front of whatever stand becomes the new Kop.

fact: they will give it a company name. It makes sense and brings in money. Arsenal have a good history but the emirates has stuck! I hope we get a kop where we the passionate fans and most vocal can go. I asked on the tour last week about the new stadium and the matter is that exec boxes will go all around the stadium. A statue of Shanks and Paisley to be at the main gates and for us to have the king kenny stand.

It looks far better than the hodgepodge of giant stands with one little stand that now constitutes Old Trafford and the "Big Concrete Bowl" known as the Emirates Stadium.

I hate corporate named stadiums.

Necessary in today's world, but I don't like it.

i shudder to think where we are going 'corporate name' wise, if at all, on the new ground lando... god knows how it'll end up being tagged.

It will probably assume the surname of whomever takes over.
