It seems not a lot of strikers are doing particular well except the usual Van horseterooy and Henry. Even Henry seems a bit off. Maybe the overall defense is stronger or teams tend to play a more conservatively. There is also a chance that most strikers in EPL are not up to the standard. But I think its more about defense or the way teams like to play only one striker up front.

Back to the topic, Tevez is going to Chelsea sooner or later. I saw the striker for PSV but I forgot his name. He looks awesome and may come cheap. He got great touch and tremendous pace. Most importantly, his awareness and shooting skill is much better. So, if anyone knows who I'm talking about, let me know. :p

The Sritker in PSV who has got  a great touch and tremendous pace that I could think of is USA international DaMarcus Beasley .

How many times we have to repeat answer such a thread like this. Who's Tevez? You better ask rafa to turn it up because he's the mastermind.

We don't need another stiker but we need another barber. You get what i mean?

Owen or Defoe.

We'll have to pay a lot for them, but that's the way it is.

Anyone ever heard of a young man named Fernando Torres?  I mean, I know that Chelski will outbid us, but wishful thinking would be that he'd come to play for another Spaniard (and mentor himself under Morientes).

Can't see Spurs letting go of Defoe, although i'd like him here.  Beasley for PSV is average IMO

For me, in this order..

1. Michael Owen - First class striker, English, knows most of the lads at LFC, can speak Spanish (LOL). Check his stats, quick, accurate, guaranteed goal scorer.

2. Dirk Kuyt (spell check) - Leading goal scorere in his league last 3 (?) seasons, Speaks good English, Scandanavian players tend to find in easier to come to the English Premiership, Big, strong and quick

3. Jermaine Defoe - Young, English, Still got a bit to learn and who better than Rafa to teach him, Not getting too many games at Spurs at the moment, could benefit us with the price. Quick and accurate.
