Josemi seems to have replaced Salif Diao as the butt of certain Liverpool fans' ire, but like Diao before him, he isn't half as bad as people make him out.
He could do with a bit of support.....isn't that what "supporting" a club is all about?

Here we go again.
**GIVE THE GUY A BREAK!!**
When he first came to us, he played well, after his injury, not so well.
When he played in the CB role against CSKA I thought he looked quite good.
Give him a PROPER chance at CB, a few months at least, and then complain or praise!!
SUPPORT ALL OF THE BLOODY TEAM AND PLAYERS FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!

i would give josemi this season to prove himself. he has had some good games. mostly at centre back where i think he can be more effective than right back.

precisely..........if we are getting rid of mediore players like biscan, smicer....then surely josemi has to be in this company too....
i would have a feeling that he won't be at anfield this season,
if rafa had signed on a free.....
Everytime i see josemi play, it is like he wants to get sent off.
Don't get me wrong, he is a good backup to have.... but if we are gonna have 2 quality players in each position...... he shouldn't be one of them.

Seeing as we didn't buy a centre-back before the deadline, we've got no choice but to give Josemi a chance! He played okay in the last two games (in two different positions), so I'm not worried about him getting a game. I'm happy to back him for now because he has a good attitude.
If you really need a scapegoat, you can use me. I can take it!

Josemi will never be a first team player, he is here to provide back up for the right back, plus he can fill in at centre back.
Maybe when either Raven or Barraghan come through he will be moved on, but for now I have no problem with him providing cover for first team players.
