Well that was the best football i have seen liverpool play for ages now, the whole midfield was phenomenal, especially kewell and gerrard on the wing they were fantastic to watch. It was all good except for the penalty miss in the first half and the lack of any goal but we finally got it late on in the 2nd half and im very happy with the performance and the scoreline.
2 wins out of 2 now, lets try and keep this run going!
Things are looking good again except for our lack of goalscorers and lack of opportunities on goal and that needs to be sorted.

That win pretty much has secured Champions League football for next year as only a dreadful run of form now will lose it for us.
Major improvement in the league this year, despite the poor results at the end of January/start of February.
If we could only score a few more goals we'd be smoking!

I really don't understand why Rafa took Fowler off instead of Nando. He missed quite a few, some even when he is not really under pressure.
World class or not, these past few games have really showed his shortcomings in to cope with the EPL. He must go now in the summer. Today for me was the final straw. He did nothing, except win a dubious penalty which shouldn't really be. Fowler did a lot for him and the team, only for Nando to squander cheaply.
I'd wager that Marlon Harewood of West Ham would have got at least 2 goals given the opportunities Nando had today. Heck, pick any striker from the top half of the EPL team and they'd score with the final chance he got.
Like drummerphil said, Nando must be Rafa's nephew to have earned such undeserved faith in playing time given.

Darn, just missed the game, will have to see the highlights. By what Rafa said in LFC.tv today, he probably wants to give him a fair run of games to prove himself as he did with Crouch. He is the striker that has had the least ammount of games also. Well, probably Cisse and he will leave in the summer anyways.

Justice has been done. Although, it would have put a bad taste in my mouth if Gerrard scored that pen. Looking back on it, there was nothing in it, and Mori just fell on a bump on the shoulder. Poll gave us that game on a platter, pity we couldn't have punished them by more.
BTW, I'm not being a jerk or anything, but, is there something wrong with Mori's vision? I think he might need some optometrist help, cos he's not putting away the balls he should be putting away, especially from 6 yards out, mind you neither can Crouch or Cissy. Also his headers are wayward, too. Might be one for the eye doc's!!

It really can't be explained, el_stinger. Nando may be world class and all but it is very clear that he just simply can't cut it in the EPL.
He completely wasted all of the good work his team mates did by setting him up. We can't have him playing against the mancs because they'd be all fired-up and nando will still be missing even the simplest of chances.
