So Cisse not intelligent enough for LFC IS HE?
82 Points with a balanced system and people like Harry Kewell-a great player who was unlucky playing a vital role and the emergence of Peter Crouch.
Ever since we have signed more and more duds, Like Gonzalez, Kuyt, Bellamy, Voronin, Itandje.
As for Torres vs Eto'o, the stats prove that while competing against the SAME players Eto'o was the more prolific player.
Eto'o's Goal record at Barcelona
League:
04/05 - 37 games, 24 goals (0.649 goals per game)
05/06 - 35 games, 26 goals (0.743 goals per game)
06/07 - 19 games, 11 goals (0.579 goals per game)
Torres Goal record at Atletico Madrid
League:
04/05 - 37 Games, 16 goals (0.432 goals per game)
05/06 - 36 Games, 13 goals (0.361 goals per game)
06/07 - 36 Games, 14 goals (0.388 goals per game)

What the stats don't prove is whether Eto'o would be as successful as Torres in England, which is what we really care about. How you can even suggest that we might have done better than buying Torres is beyond me.

Exactly right!Just yet another reason to prove stats are balls!
Firstly Eto was playing with the best and most creative players in the world around him,Torres was at Atletico with average players around him, getting less supply!
Saying all that, its virtually irrelevant anyway.Who cares what he done at Atletico?
He hit a bagfull for us last season and thats all that matters!

No matter what you say, the fact you're sitting there saying we should have signed a 29/30 year old with less ability than a 23/24 year old is a joke.
How anyone can question Torres is beyond me. The lads a genius and the only people who don't rate him are dickheaded sticks who wouldn't know a world class player if they jumped and stuck a fifteen inch pole up there .
People who question the signing of Torres need to go and die somewhere. Seriously!

Fo Dne is the any chance you can post a reply to someone without insulting them ? doesnt matter what you think the guy is allowed his opinion and shouldnt be subjected to abuse just cause it differs from you .
And for the record a lot of people were saying we should go for etoo as opposed to torres before torres was signed . and im pretty sure etoo would of scored a hell of a lot of goals as well .
Master hasnt questioned Torres ability or slagged him off at all was just giving a point of view bout before torres was signed . Maybe next time construct a reply and counter opinion without all the insults and berating

There are lies, damned lies, and statistics. As Barry has said, Eto was playing with a much more successful club and with much better players in Spain than Torres was. I don't think anyone can question Torres or his success since his arrival in England.
Statistically I have more than the average number of feet, yet I only have 2, regardless of the rumours spread by Dawson
