This is the moment of maximum vulnerability for Mourinho, the hour of his mortality.

‘He made the people happy.’ Can Mourinho say that of himself? Benitez can!

Good quote from one of the papers

When our always energetic captain even began to look tired, when Zenden, Carragher and Finnan got cramp in their legs during the extra time, with the uninterrupted chorus from the KOPs, I saw a mighty Liverpool FC in which everyone has really fight all their hearts and strength to Athens.
One thing called LIVERPOOL SPIRIT that any other club can only dream of!  :bowdown
Come on Redmen! YNWA! :buttrock

We are the last of the magic clubs in world football there is something that can not be be put in to words in the hollowed turf of our stadium something magical.
it cant be bought with millions it must be earned with blood sweat and tears pride and passion tragic and disspair over decades and decades.

I was referring to late in the game when Bellamy came on and a few too many keeper to keeper balls were creeping in. By and large we played through midfield, Bellamy came on after most of the proper football had been played

George Gillett Joins “Messy” Celebrations After Liverpool Send Chelsea Packing

Liverpool’s new co-owner George Gillett had a literally “messy” introduction to English football marking the Champions League semi-final win over Chelsea for the Merseysiders to have a crack at their sixth Cup title.

Gillett lapped up the experience of a spectacular European night at Anfield with the Reds fans in full cry as Rafa Benitez’s men sent the Blues packing – like they did at the same stage of the competition two years back before winning the epic final against AC Milan in Istanbul.

The US tycoon later joined the celebrations which striker Peter Crouch said were “messy.”

Crouch said: "It was quite messy in the dressing room with a lot of champagne but it's not often you get to a Champions Final.

"The new owner was here and his suit is soaked in champagne and his glasses were steamed up and we even tried to get him into the bath. I think you can say he has had an introduction to English football."

Meanwhile, the Reds skipper Steven Gerrard praised goalkeeper Jose Reina after the Spaniard stopped the penalty kicks of Arjen Robben and Geremi to guide the home team to a 4-1 tie-breaker win.

"When it comes down to penalties and you know you have one of the best keepers in the world, you can be confident," he said.

"But you do get nervous. There is nothing worse for a player, especially when the manager points to you and tells you you are on a penalty. You need big players to stand up and take responsibility and our penalty takers did."

In particular, Fozzie, is notorious for trying to bang moaninho from behind. They all love Cheatski, except Palumbo. That guy is Serie A biased. They never give Liverpool any respect, I hope they don't go for us in the final, we'll prove them wrong again. Feck em

Fozzie is a disgrace.  Its his job to know everything about the teams, and so often his information is dated or incorrect.  One of the three mentioned that it would be crazy to play Gerrard on the left when if they did their research they would know that he played there to great effect at the game at the bridge this season.  Andrew (host) is usually alright but the other two were rubbish.  Bring back the european guy with the really strong accent (his name escapes me) who was the specialist analyst for most of the world cup.

All that w@nker Foster does is whinge about the lack of "technicality" between English sides (LiverpoolvChelsea). Then on air has a wet dream about United and Milan.

The guy talks out of his @rsehole and really f.ucks me off.  Who the hell, or what the hell did he do, to become so critical of English football and Liverpool in particular ?

F>UCKING NOTHING ! The blokes a f.ucking joke!
