Wonder who will be in the reserves for Bolton game; we'd have used up most (if not all) of our 2nd strings in the main lineup..

And La Tallec as main striker? We're in such aweful state now, it's unbelievable..

The last game almost freaked me out, players dropping like flies one-by-one..

Dudek

Finnan Hyypia Pellegrino Carragher

Nunez Gerrard Biscan Riise

Smicer

Le Tallec

I'd be dead against this however, as Smicer has been pretty much anonymous as an attacking force since he's returned to the squad. Similarly, it wouldn't surprise me to see Nunez used as a makeshift striker alongside Le Tallec, with Finnan pushing up to midfield and maybe Otsemobor being brought in at right back.

Anybody know if our loan agreement with Bolton allows Diouff to play against us ?
And,looking at our injury situation should we consder recalling him ?

I think Diouff is eligible to play against us. (not 100% sure though).

Pongolle's out for the season, fella. Hence us umming and ahhing over who the second striker can be. Le Tallec is the only specialist striker we have available for Bolton that's had first team experience.

I think the rules brought in this season means loan players cant play against their parent team

i guess we have our defence and midfield set... just lacking a striker to partner Le Tallec...

I think the only option we have is to play Smicer alongside Le Tallec.

I've never been a fan of smicer because he'd to lightweight. But i must abmit i think he done a good job for us yesterday when he came on.
