Big Niall wrote:For me, 3 points against newcastle is much more important than the chelsea game.

after the dust has settled now - i have to agree!

CARSON IN FOR DEBUT AS RAFA MAKES 5 CHANGES
Mark Platt 05 March 2005
Scott Carson will make his senior Liverpool debut at Newcastle this afternoon as Rafael Benitez makes five team changes.
Carson, who only joined the club from Leeds in January, replaces Jerzy Dudek, who drops to the bench.
Fernando Morientes (groin), Didi Hamann (shin), Harry Kewell (ankle) and Djimi Traore (thigh) all miss out through injury, and are replaced by Milan Baros, Igor Biscan, Vladimir Smicer and Mauricio Pellegrino.

Team in full: Carson, Finnan, Riise, Carragher, Hyypia, Pellegrino, Biscan, Gerrard, Smicer, Garcia, Baros. Subs - Dudek, Warnock, Welsh, Nunez, Le Tallec.

- Not feeling so confident now. Losing Nando for this one is a big blow and Traore has been doing ok just lately. Am assuming Pellegrino will be stepping in at CB leaving Jamie to play out on the left with Smicer coming in at Right Mid. We didn't fare too well last time the boss moved JC out to full-back. Hope we fare better this time.

Milan may feel he has a bit to prove after this past week. Lets hope he has a big game.

It doesn't get any bigger that this.

How many freakin injuries can we have.

Add Morientes, Traore, Hamaan, Kewell and Dudek onto the list. That is just unbelievable!

Massive match. We've got to win - but that will be a phenomenal result.

Come on the boys!
