We have played more games this season that any other side in Europe.

This is absolutely 100% fact.

How is this possible? I hear you all cry..

Well -

Premiership - 23 games
Carling Cup - 4 games
Champions league - 8 games (including two qualifying matches)

35 matches already this season -

It could end up being something like 70!

We are also set to extend this strange record tomorrow night.

Anyone surprised ? Pleased ?

Haven't Man U played the same?

I think we have definately played on SKY more than anyone else. We seem to be on the TV 2 a week at the moment... Great for the armchair fans!!!

another interesting fact i read when gerrad was injured i read that staistics show that we won more matches since something like 2001 withought gerrard than with. we only one slightly more matches but it just shows that we aren't utterly dependant on gerrard

As far as i know we played 63 games in the treble season
