this thread is in danger into descending into a hunk zone, so i will get it back to footy.

I think Pellegrino would be worth signing on a free for a year or two. He is 33 now and is still decent centrwe-half, good backup for Hyppia and Carra, but we need to be looking at a young centre-half as a long-term replacement for Hyppia who is approaching the end of his best days.

... I agree Scott.. sausage or not.. we need a youngeerr guy.. but perhaps in the meantime he cud to a good job for us..

well said. the girls on this site seem to be in a constant state of hormonal frenzy and distract us from concentrating on the important subject of football :;):

i agree with dawson ( i think it was dawson...). pellegrino may be getting on a bit, but thats not so bad for a CB. and we should deffo be looking at bringing the younger guys through. if we can get the services of an experienced player, for free, for a couple of years as we get the youngsters ready i reckon its a good move.
