Tevez was reportedly bought by Corinthians for between US$15 to 20 million but not paid by them but by another third party. Sounds like Abrahamovic is behind this where he will play in Brazil (get this, an Argentine bought by a Brazillian club - must be a first) fo 2-3 years and then this "third party" will share the profit from the proceeds of future sales with the club or something like that.

I think Chelski's owner is behind this and he will bring him to Chelski after 1 season.

Oh yeah, I forgot and Tevez was indeed bought by a Brazilian club and this really puzzle me. It really seems as azriahmad had suggested, it is probably setting up to be something bigger. But probably not Chelski because just read from Soccernet that Chelski is gunning for Ronaldino. So, it maybe somebody else behind the Tevez signing.

Who ever it is I dont agree with this 18 mill for one player look at Cisse and Diouf both over priced and cant cut it in the prem :glare: .
I would prefer 3 players for that kind of money.
With the exception of Alonso 10 mill bargain there.

Torres? Get real, we can't attract these players anymore.

We can attract these players with Rafa at the helm you will see. I agree With Cisse That Cisse lol, hopefully will make a full recovery but we sign some one in January that just clicks with the side and he has trouble getting back in the side because God help us if we are counting on Cisse when he returns Im shore that this will not happen though because Rafa seems to have a lot of respect from players everywhere and will sign real quality but he wont spend a whole heap of it on one player he said that himself.

Cisse hasnt really had the chance to prove himself as of yet...might never get that chance either!

akumaface, I read in a Sunday paper in my parts of the world that the financers behind the Tevez deal was a "sports" company and the real owners behind this company is mysterious and could be Abrahamovic.

Why? Because it may well cost him more if he were to approach them directly. It seems logical that only he will take this kind of a gamble.

As for Cisse, if he is as good as his transfer price, he would have produced more than what he has delivered to date. He was utterly struggling like a person so out of his depth in the EPL. He should have only cost 5mil max. What a waste of money...
