f@cking hell, why dont we have the whole spanish squad, then we really wont win owt :D

there's quality in spain but only individually, look at the lack of success at national level. Ours in England has also been bad, but at least weve won the world cup in our history

I have a problem with this kind of attitude that just because the manager is a foreign national, that he knows his home countries players inside out.
Why didn't we sign Henry, Vierra, Drogba and Zidane ? ???  ???

what are you on about you muppet? ???

Where have you been for the last 5 years? You must have had your head stuck down your Avatar !!  :D   :D

are you seriously trying to tell me that alonso, garcia and josemi are third rate? comparing them to the likes of traore, diouf and cheyrou is simply laughable.

i couldn't give a flying f#ck where the players come from, aslong as they can play football.

We tried to get Zidane years ago but failed MUPPET
Drogba was too much  MUPPET
Henry nobody wanted  Muppet
Vieira unknown but Wenger beat us to him MUPPET

Le Tallec and Pongo in youth world cup winning team and everybody was after them

In fact all Cheyrou Traore were highly thought of youth players with youth caps

How many of Rooneys youth team mates are in the premiership now  ???

I dont give a damm what nationality the players are as long as they are good enough.  I agree that this could be agent hype.  I've never heard of him but I know a man who would have.......RB.  It appears we all agree we need a new centre half.

Ok wise guy !
Question 1.
How many of the French mob that we bought have come good ?
Answer:
Precisely none.

Question 2.
How much did we spend on all this 'potential' ?
Answer:
£68 m

Why should we just assume because we have a manager of a certain nationality, that he will give us the inside track on the best players of that country ?
Our most recent experience say's don't rely on immediate recommendations, do some checking !!
As a club LFC need some improvement in the buying and selling Dept.
Just supporting the new manager with blind faith because he seems a good guy or nice guy or whatever ! is not good business sense and to use your term is definitely for muppets.
We need to learn from the Houllier experience !!
