Nunez and Garcia?

Beardsley was a Man UTD reject, John Aldridge was 23 before he actually played a league game.

Edgar Davids and Patrick Kluivert were abysmal at AC Milan.

but the point is he IS good enough for chelsea, the new manager just doesn't rate him obviously. in my opinion parker and joe cole are both more talented than frank lampard ever will be.

I like Parker. A bit workmanlike but is aggressive, fairly skillful and scores goals. Would certainly bring some of the aggression Rafa has been pining for in the press over the past couple of days. No need to buy him, why not bring him in on loan for the rest of the season with an option to buy. Would be good business.

Beats Biscan and Diao

You're right, as much as we mightn't like to think it our financial position is nowhere near that of other G-14 clubs.  The name Liverpool still commands a lot of respect but we lack the money to prise the best from their clubs.  Parker would be a good replacement for hamann as they have some very similiar characteristics but Parker is a lot younger and will get better.  Don't see him as ever being able to replace stevie though.

Buy scott parker- that is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard

Those that think he is good enough for liverpool fc need to think again. We need to be looking at buying top players not overpaid chelsea cast offs.

In the light of the ridiculously over rated players that some in here HAVE Advocated ( Joey Barton for example ??? ) I say Scott Parker would be more then capable of holding his own at LFC. When you consider that in the last few LFC games we have seen Daio, Biscan and Traore play a part then Parker has nothing to fear regarding getting regular games !

If, as most of us fear, Stevie is Chelsea bound, Hamann retires to Germany and we finally get shut of the dead wood then a player of Parker's ability would be a welcome addition to a new look LFC midfield .
