Seriously gentlemen, be realistic, avoid being too naive.
Players from lesser club must be bad? not definitely, but bigger possibility
Players from bigger club must be good? not definitely, but bigger possibility
What matter is the ability of our scout
He is the one who also make a big contribution to club's finance policy in buying players.
To me, and should be to everyone, good players are those who come cheap and make a significant progress in his rate improvement.
Sami is a very good player, and GH and his scout assistant did his best buying job in Sami's signing.

Diouf and Emile are bad players. You know why.

Graeme Souness, our greatest ever midfielder, also was bought from Boro, if you consider them a lesser club. Definitely at that point in time, noe they are not thet much lesser, only lesser in history and tradition, as their manager has been doing a fantastic job of meking them competitive as well as playing very well.

I think Rafa has enough conviction and bravado (not the foolish type, I believe) to blood and groom youngsters who are promoted from the academy to become the future backbone of the club. Augurs well indeed for the future. This is directly the opposite of houllier who is hell bent on not losing and end up buying players who he himself was afraid to play them let alone give a chance to the youngsters.

nay sayers and detractors keep saying Benithez does not want/care for an English or local core - that is b*ll*x as he just need to get rid of the "hard to mould" senior players and need to get in the players he believes can get us on track in the immediate perios while slowly giving the young guns the necessary exposure to develop further into the senior squad.

If the price is right then yes , the reports about this kid is he has class stamped all over him and we do need to strenghten in that area
My concern is with the hype the price will rise and then a lower div bargain is an overpriced kid with too much expectations on his shoulders and will fall flat on his face
Prem is always a different kettle of fish

back on topic ive bein to see this lad and his an up and comin player with real quality might be worth a game and for people who have sky if they can't  be at the match. watch him against play on sunday if the choice was him or traoe who would u go with. and its about time out club takes a gamble on lower players i would take a gamble on buying adam boyd from hartelpool and micheal dawson from forest its better than foreginer players on huge wages who do ******.
