O yes i am absolutely made up, i hate Finnan wiv a passion. He is know where good enough to play fo us. Although you r right about havin no team, we have got a very small squad at the moment which worries me, Biscan & Diao still there wats goin on?

I`m still convinced that Rafa knows what he`s doing. I agree to those who wants Finnan to stay, being somewhat of an allrounder and could cover for several places, but my bet is that if Rafa lets him go it`s because he needs the cash for new signings. I guess we all agree that there have been rather shocking exits lately, but I`m confident that now is the time for unexpected signings as well

Spurs linked with Finnan

Tottenham are ready to take advantage of Liverpool's willingness to listen to offers for defender Steve Finnan, according to reports.
Spurs boss Jacques Santini is believed to have made a formal inquiry for Finnan, who joined Liverpool in a £3.6m deal from Fulham in June 2003.

Stephen Carr's move to Newcastle has left Spurs with a right-back vacancy.

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is prepared to let Finnan, 28, go for £2m after signing Josemi from Malaga.

The arrival at Anfield of Antonio Nunez - as part of the deal that took Michael Owen to Real Madrid - is also set to limit Finnan's role as a makeshift midfielder.

Blackburn boss Graeme Souness also inquired about taking Finnan on a season-long loan but Liverpool are only interested in cash for the former Fulham favourite.

i can't see the logic of shipping out more of our supposed "squad players". if we get injuries finnan can fill in in a couple of positions. maybe we can let him go if otsemobor is given a chance though.

you mean play semmy at RM, Finnan will be doing a bit of work this year i think.

it looks like by next year we will have no old players left but if we start to win things it would be a small price to pay.

that would just be plain stupidity. we've already got rid of most of our english nucleus and carra's versatility makes him a vital part of our first team.

I can`t see that happening. I can`t imagine that Rafa is to offload any more of our defenders but if that yet is to be the case, we can`t possibly afford loosing Carra. He can cover for all places in the defence, and therefore, I`m sure he`ll be highly valued also by Rafa. Carra is safe; Hyppia, Semmi, Riise and surely Josemi as well

Souness is a cheeky c**t wanting Finnan on a loan. I hope Liverpool never do business with him again after all the goings on with Duff!
