Addicted, I think this "funds" refer to the amount of new money that was supposed to have happen but did not. hence the reason why money is a bit tight.
As for signings, i think we need a quicker central defender.

Just read that Colocinni confirmed that talks were held with LFC and Rafa is still keen on signing him. Hopefully it will happens soon. A CB with his quality would make us an instant favourite to win this year.

we need another striker because if either cisse or baros get injured we are seriously screwed. we could also do with a pacey centre half. hopefully once we qualify for the champions league the qualifying money can be put towards strengthening those areas.

And then someone to cover both flanks i.e. Garcia then i think we are fine for the time being with the option to review things in Jan window and next close season!
I'm more concearned with a good 1st 11 then a good squad!
