Posted: Mon Aug 09, 2004 11:50 amDiouf going out on loan- you have to be joking. Getting rid of Diouf is going to be rafa's first mistake. I hate the fact that almost every liverpool fan has this thing against diouf. You have to remember that up until christmas last season (when gerrard was highly underpeforming) diouf was our best player (the lfc website confirmed this as just before christmas he was top of the man of the match list- as i recall miles ahead of any other player). Who can forget the torrid times he gave Wayne Bridge and Glen Johnoson on the opening day of the season. Other players where to follow as he was terrorising left backs up and down the country, such as Unsworth, Gresko, J Lloyd Samuel etc. The way i see it is there is too many fans out there with short memories.
