Yes, we should keep him. Houllier doesnt seem to know a potentially good player when one emerges, which was obvious when he kept playing heskey and bringing baros on for the last 10 mins. He seemed to keep a lot of good players on the bench too during his reign:......Anelka, Litmanen, Berger, Pongy. etc

I dont know what all this raving is about Cisse, as ive never seen him play. I know he was/is the top scorer in the french league, but im betting he aint no Tierry Henry. only time will tell.
Keep him without a doubt.

No we should sell him.

Sell Murphy, Smicer, Riise, Carrahger, Finnan, Kirkland and Henchoz aswell.

Are you people that daft you need to ask stupid questions?

For christs sake we need 4 and no less strikers. At the minute we have three.

Will people stop being stupid and suggesting we sell half of our squad. Players like Smicer, Murphy, Baros, Le Tallec, Traore all have there uses.

The only players we should sell are Biscan, Diao and Maybe if we recieve the correct offer Diouf.

Selling any other player without having a suitable replacement lined up is damn right stupid. We already need to add at least 1 midfielder, 1 striker and 1 defender before we can consider selling anyone else.

Why do people talk of Baros as cover. He scores all the time for the czechs, just because we bought him cheap enough? If we bought him for £14m you'd be saying we should play him every week.

I think he should have played every game last season especially with Owen been injured and Heskey looking about as deadly as ............Heskey.

Maybe I am wrong but I think Houllier backed baros when all of his backroom staff said get rid of him coz he was overweight and ****** a few years back .

I think houllier does not get credit for the good things he done which is a great deal

Those who are putting a bet on the on Baros being top scoring for the Checz Repuplic....keep yer money in yer pocket, the checzs' wont get past the group phase, as they have to beat Germany and Holland.
WHo else have they got apart from Baros?

DOnt tell me..........Smicer!

You'll be looking a t1t when the Czech's get to the semi's, mark my words  :;):

They are ranked higher than England and have been for a while, why will beat Holland cos on paper Holland have great players but as a team Holland struggle cos the team spirit isn't there.

What about Cisse, people?

What if he has a stinker?  I hope i'm wrong but he has to prove to me he's not another French disaster.  Admittedly, I have only seen him a few times.  We must have done our homework to sanction a £14 million deal, but i hope he's worth it.

Keep Baros.  Definitely.

as of yet Baros is not a prolific goal scorer but he scares the 5hit out of opposing defenders cos he goes at them, if he can't start as an all out attacker every game he'd get my vote to be on the wing every game!

Baros is a fantastic player. I hope he gets more games next season. Very soon than it'll be Owen on the bench. (love to see that). Cisse will be good. Seen how he played in the french league. He's much sharper than SAHA. Hopefully the 1st pair of strikers to play next season will be Baros and Cisse. With more games given to Baros, I will surely see him as a fearsome striker/forward.
