Hmmm alot of footage of strikers but not of Michael Owen and Houllier era...

Our main injuries at the moment are Lucas, Johnson, and Enrique. If we can bring in a central midfielder to cover for Lucas's absence and perhaps a leftback on loan (anyone from anywhere could not possibly be any worse than Cissokho) then we would have done okay in the transfer window.

I though Salah would have been a good deal for us but we obviously need a midfielder much more than we need a winger at the moment. If Rodgers is set on bringing in another attacking player however, I'd go for Ben Arfa. He's not starting for Newcastle but when he's in the mood, he's unplayable.

And what about when he's NOT "in the mood"   

Sorry mate whoever we sign in whatever position, we need a player that'll turn up every week, Ben Arfa isn't that player.

I'm surprised we haven't bought anyone yet in the transfer window. The squad is thin, especially when we have a few injuries. And with injuries, the squad at the moment isn't strong enough for us to make the top 4, in my opinion. So I hope atleast a couple of players arrive in the next week.
