What do you mean getting Matteo on the cheap. If you supported Liverpool for more than 2~3 years, you would have remember that it was Liverpool who sold him to Leeds cheaply!
Re: Gut-less board, I don't think they have the bottle to sack Houllier. I remember Perry came out and said that 4th is the absolute minimum for us this year. He then came out a few weeks later saying that finishing fourth is not the main criteria to judge Houllier. Make me laugh at some of the sh1t coming out from these guys!
