Let Stevie be right-back thread. The guy's simply immense, but to narrow his options by playing him up front is ludicrous.
totally agreed. He is awesome and would be our best player on the park in any position, playing him upfront limits his ability to control the game.
Playing him as a striker would be good, he would be good anywhere, but if we didnt have strikers who were failing we wouldnt be having this debate. He belongs in midfield, he needs to be there to pull the strings and make things happen and to enable our strikers to perform how then can, rather than putting him up there to solve the problem.... it would be a short term fix but in the long term damaging. IMO
