Barca
AC Milan
Inter
Arsenal
Chelsea
Juve

Just Real left

The only side to beat us under Rafa before the semis was Benfica - a portugese side. Don't forget the mancs will probably get an easy draw so pencil them in for Sporting.

I'd prefer to avoid Inter, not because I fear any of the sides we could face, but because there won't be many easy sides left in the next round (if any) and don't we have a tricky schedule around the time the CL resumes so I'd prefer not to have two demanding legs. I can't see us cruising past Inter, more chance of that against Lyon, Villareal or Sporting.

I want Real, my best mate is a Real fan and he reckons that Real are a better team.

Real madrid now is a joke defending. They look like a pub team with Gago, Cannavaro, Raul, Guti and company.
Our solid and compact system would dissolve them like sugar in the water.

isnt this thread a little too early also (somewhat earlier than the fa cup pne thread), as the matches wont be played until 7-8th april and 14-15 april 2009. that means we have about 20 odd matches to go before we even play this?.
or does favouratism take first place?

The games take place on these dates Judge and this isnt a match thread, its a thread for the draw which is on in a week .

There will be a seperate thread for the match, whoever we play

Villarreal was only playing 70% of their capabilities, but they still haven't been tested by a serious team this season in Europe.

In Spain there are quite a lot of talks about the dissapointing game of Manchester United. Still to be seen what they'd do against a better side like Liverpool, whose midfield is quite superior to any thing they've faced so far.

no. dont start a thread until weve played other teams(s) first then start a thread nearer the time without interferring with the current threads, or something like that
