agree with you Ciggy, because Owen shafted us good and proper when he left....but when i look at players like Voronin, i can't help think that i'd be tempted to bring Owen in to replace him, thus giving us 3 top class strikers.

However, i don't think rafa will go for Owen.

Not for me. Although it has to be said - he's a much better Nr 10 than the f*cking thing we've got!

For the money hes a steal and we should consider a bid.

I doubt very much it will happen given the way Owen left and its likely Rafa wont forgive him for that.

No :censored: way. Owen has proved to us on several ocassions that he is only looking for glory and money. He forced his move from us to Real Madrid in the most hideous manner and he should never be forgiven for that. Now he is doing something similar to Newcastle though they saved his :censored: from rotting away on the bench at Real Madrid.

I could accept it if he went down to his wage he had with us before he left. That would show me he had some heart.

not so much with the way he left, but in the manner he refused to hold out for a deal to Liverpool instead of Newcastle. All Owen needed to say to Real was "i want to go to Liverpool and not Newcastle"

a deal would have been done, but Boy Wonder was more interested in his England career and went to Newcastle instead for fear of not going to the World Cup. The rest as they say is history...

We should get in quick NOW. I think he would be a great signing, and with him and Torres in the team I think we would have a good chance to win the league.

Wages might prove a problem but if he got the chance to come back I think he would settle for a lot less than he wants at Newcastle.

I would take him , so he left us , he's a cun.t so what . He's still a class player and could be a good back up , and for that price , its more that worth a chance , we need strength in dept and owen can provide that , if torres or keane is injured i'd rather have owen than voronin or kuyt , because he has more to offer than both of them combined . He will not go to mancs , he will sign the new deal that newcastle have offered and i think if we make a bid for him , he will take a pay cut and come back to liverpool where he knows there's more of a chance to win trophies than at newcastle .

NO OWEN PLEASE.. That idiot should have stayed with us and maybe would have had a champions league medal in his glory hunting ar$...
Also i can't see him any use for us he would never be able to play with torres and who wants owen when we have got a good young striker like ngog.

For 2M?

Absolutely. Get him back at LFC and get rid of Voronin.

If he doesn't demand wages too big, then we should buy him, even if he costs around 5mil. He is still a very good striker and if he can stay injury free, he would be a very nice addition to the squad. But the wages are my main concern. Hes not a guy that I think will take a pay cut. If he does tho, sign him, hes loads better then Keane anyway.
