I am so surprised and dismayed at the comments I am not sure they are true.

ok, hes a wee bit over confident, but i like fighting talk its always better than:

'we'll just take one game at a time and hope we do ok'

I would say cheers to Reina, its high time we had a player who has belief and is not afraid to share it. It is not as if we are banking on luck to win this season, and Reina has just expressed his belief in himself and the team to stay on top the entire season;

I dont know much about the "Liverpool Way", the only Liverpool way I know is that we are champions and this is a championship winning mentality. An expression of self belief can be taken out of context as arrogance. In any case a dose of arrogance with the stewardship of Rafa is not a bad thing, and indeed we are at the top of the league because we deserve it.

Agreed. I share Bamaga's & AB's reservations, but this is not Craig Bellamy saying this, its one of the best keeper's in the premiership.

I love the self belief.

I agree with Pepe. We're winning the league. In fact, we're winning the lot. United and Chelsea are also below us where they belong now. They arn't better than us, so that's another thing I agree on. Fair play. The fella is only commenting on what he feels is true, which is what we all should do. Let's see how, or if, we beat Pompy tomorrow. If we turn them over with ease, then there won't be very many teams that can upset us on that kind of form in the league.

spot on mate, and again there will be some here tommorrow evening after we have beaten Pompey who will be saying well it was only Portsmouth, lets not get hyper about it; well i am one supporter who takes one game at a time:D enjoy the 3 wins and 1 draw, and come 2:45 pm tommorrow, I will be opening a can of Guiness in celebration:)

This is why I prefer players to say little in the press. You can be confident all you want amongst your team-mates but no need to rant on in the press.
