Doesn't matter what wingers we have if they start one game and are dropped the next or have different centre forward with different strengths/weaknesses playing when they do play.

Rafa has been here 3 years and should know his best 11. Start them every week FFS.

exactly the point i was going to make Sabre mate. I have to admit, the guy hasn't exactly set the world alight since he came here, but i think in a few of the games he's shown that he does have a lot to offer, particularly the Bolton game over christmas, and the newcastle game at the weekend. I think he's improved for us a lot since he's had a decent run in the team.

Ok, if you were to ask me if there was anyone else i'd prefer in that position, i'd have to say yes, i'm sure everyone on this forum could put together a wish-list of potential right wingers that do perhaps have more to offer than pennant, but i reckon he's a young lad, with a number of attributes thatoffer something to the team, and theres plenty of time left in his career for him to improve, which, under Rafa and the current coaching staff, he invariably will

he does give us extra options and allows us the way to play that england favour also-pacy wingers putting in crosses for the strikers
