Should have happened last summer imo.  One of the few mistakes Benitez has made here was keeping Traore on after the CL final.

All the best to Djimi, but he was a complete liability (and that's no exaggeration if we're honest) and we need to get rid of players like that to progress.

Based only on what I have seen of him this season it does not suprise me that he is going, IF we are going for the title we need better than Traore. Of course based on most of last season I'd have sold him ages ago.

Sorry Traore, get on that minibus and shove up a little, it's going to get a little crowded.

Good luck to him, has always tried his best, been a top professional when he has been out of team and getting slated from all angles. But he never has been good enough.

Think he should go to France to a club that can offer him a first team spot as a centre back, would like to see him put on some upper body muscle.

If we could get £2 Mil out of him it would be good business.

and remember, only gerrard and carragher have been at the club longer, so hes been loyal as well

He hasnt gone yet, dont be counting chickens or whatever the saying is.

:D
Seriously though he needs to go and hopefuly someone will actually be stupid enough to give us a couple of million for him.
Lets hope Everton take him, that would be brilliant  :D

Big,brave, strong, good in the air, quick and a decent tackler.Yet Traore just wasn't good enough for top level football. Makes you think about what qualities he needed but couldnt aquire. Footballing brain, technique, touch, positional sense, passing ability. With one or two of these extra attributes maybe he could have been a great player, without them he was a liability. All the best to Traore but not before time.
