I read the Sunday Mirror and also todays mirror as i obviously woulnt go near the s@n, and i was really p'ssed off with the reports.
There was not an ounce of credit given to us, it was all negative Liverpool bore there way to 3 points against a poor city side...with ratings of about 4 out of 10 for some players.
I didnt watch the game and rely on the papers to give an accurate summary, not a biased one due to some sort of jealousy vendetta.
From what i have read on this forum the match was pretty dull with hardly any chances, but it seems we controlled it and took the chance that came our way, imo thats sounds like a very professional performance and 3 massive points at a club who were top 8 and who have started the season brightly.
If any other club went and got the same result they would receive praise, but nothing.
This is a serious question..i will always buy a paper, are there any that give accurate match summaries ?

I like the Independant. It does what it says on the tin.

Not a surprise to be honest!!
We never get good press, they always focus on the negatives!
Fu.ck the papers,i'll take a 1-0 'boring' Liverpool win away from home every time!
Let them say what they want, its onwards and upwards for the red men!!

So will i mate, but i actually used to like buying a paper after a good win, and generally avoid them if we have lost.
But having to read sh@te like that really bothers me.
It was the same after the home win against west ham.
Surely one of the papers must give a proper write-up.
