I'm 29. I've enjoyed a lot this decade. But at 29, when you start with a girl, the family starts buggering you with stuff like "Hope this one is the definite" one. So I'm not happy about the idea of being 30 soon.

Ah, my point is that "Señor" is correct Spanish and it's a form of respect. But it's not applied to young people, but middle aged and beyond . So that's why I hate so much to be called "Señor" it makes me older :D </ending Spanish lesson>

Bottomline, call me mate :D

Okay chico.

:D

Unless Sociedad get him to sign another contract before this one expires. Is it worth Liverpool making a lot of noise in the Spanish press? I'm just thinking that they can't approach without Sociedad's permission while under contract can they?

Real tried but isn't reaching to an agreement, and we won't. The rules say, that nobody can call Nihat until January, it would be forbidden (from January and so on, it's allowed). But one of the things I hate of Valencia is that they don't care about this rule and are offering contracts to the player in secrecy.

When Liverpool wanted  Alonso, they made it properly. First contact the club and ask for situation of the player THEN contact the player. Valencia is a master of the anti fair play, he traditionally tries to get our players (Kovacevic, Karpin, Nihat, now Prieto), as they fail blatantly to have our good eye to bring hot prospect players .

Excellent posts from Sabre, and thanks to ToTinho for the topic. :;):

Nihat, he's 'great' with one word..I've been watching him for years.i remember his first app. in Besiktas, when he was a teenage boy. He's improved his skills rapidly and became a world-class striker today.

And as well as lots of European clubs, Fenerbahce struggle to sign him for 1 year. At the end of this season he will be free, and only he wants is 1.5 million euros per year (+ an untroubled club).

Except his frequent injuries, he is perfect!..

Yes, he has been unlucky to have  serious injury recently, but AFAICT it's not recurring injury, this should not be a worry.

Fenerbahce is struggling for him, but I recall him (Nihat) saying that considering Fenerbahce a top club, he'd preffer not to come back to play against Besiktas. What a pity for you :) Ah, if only he had played the second qualifier against switzerland, it's a pity world class strikers like Etoo or Nihat are going to be out :( the WC

I hope he will be play in England (Liverpool) than Valencia..

He is much more skillful than Baros, Pongolle or Cisse...

Just like an other copy of Owen

If he's free and 23 (poetry or what!?!), get him in. Reuniting him and Alonso sounds like a good idea to me! And £1m per year is only £19,231 a week.
Sounds like a bargain for a player I've never seen!!!!! :D

He is 25 years old, not 23 (was born in 1979 or 1980 i think) and scored more than 50 goals in La Liga though he struggled some serious injuries.

Owen is a bit slower while running, Nihat can out run  with the ball in his feet a running defender. Owen though, finishes much better than Nihat, IMHO.

Ah, lovely photo of Nihat against my archienemies bast*rds of BIlbao

And yes, sorry for that, I was wrong about him being 23,

Aye, take a chance on him - thats what I say.
He may be a pile of sh*te once he's here, but he might become an Anfield legend!!!

Which one is he in that pic, I.F? The one who's just been shot, or the one who's been sniffing glue? ??? :D
