We were correct to sell baros, If we get Owen to replace him, otherwise were just selling ourselves short upfront.

Good luck to him, you cant expect to sell a striker and not having score any goals
I dont bear Milan any ill will as long as he doesnt score against us

why can't we just wish him luck and leave him ? I mean, do we have to hope that all our ex-players play like sh1t for their new clubs ?

Baros just started for his new club and capped it with a goal. I would say he has done well given that it is his 1st match with a new team....... So just wish him all the luck.

An irony. Baros scored on his debut and he is sh1t .....on the other hand, we have some players not performing well....and we have to give them time...  ???

Oh shut-up you t@rt  . :D

You can argue that he is better than Crouch (however Crouch played 12 games less than Baros last season and still scored more goals than him) but Owen?

f*ck man

i cant believe this is a liverpool forum. are all liverpool fans like this? aren't we supposed to be the nicest?

you f*cks are blasting baros even when he scored for his new club. where is the love?

ever since coming onto this forum ive realised that pool fans have just the same behavior as man u fans. we shall see, just give pool some degree of successive success like man u and pool fans will all become arrogant, proud bast*rds.

pool fans are just being nice in disguise. pool fans are 'nice' just because they have no reason to be arrogant after playin a bit part role for a decade in the league.

wish baros luck.

He even had his head up and was looking to pass the ball - why did he not do this at Liverpool.

To fukk with baros!..onwards and forwards!.(we could do with another forward, owen will do?) he's history let the headless chicken get on with his life at villa, and lets get on with the re-birth of Rafa's mighty Red army!!.  :nod

Baros was never the answer- its just a pity he never had nando under his arm when he went-
even baros scored one out of ten chances that other muppet scores one in 50-

it should have been him before baros

Nothing strange about it. He's a good player, who'll only get better. Pity not at Liverpool.

Exactly, you only have to watch the CL DVD to realise this, every game in the CL group stages on that DVD Baros missed at least 2 absolute sitters  :(

bottom line was baros was seeming world class material. but he wasn;t a finisher. and his golden boot simply added pressure for him.

he had some weakness-running blindly at defenders, that rafa felt spoiled the entire baros package.  thus he justified selling him. moreover his contract was running out. but the cash recieved was a tad low wasn't it? ???
