Hobbs can't sign until his Birthday AB, which is mid August, so I don't think it will be him. Was it taken off because the Baros deal has broken down today? And we need the funds, ie Owen??

I don't think we need the funds from the sale of Baros in order to bring in two more players.

No I don't think he'll come back mostly because Benitez doesn't want him back. We don't know what went on behind doors during the Owen saga so that might have something to do with Benitez not wanting him back.

This press conference rumour is a pile of kaka.

It would be for Crouch and Sissoko, as there was supposed to be a post dated conference when they came back from Austria or wherever it was.

Thats what its for, we haven't signed any Mother yet.
