great! another chance for me to say how much i like pongo. :)
and i do think he'll make the grade. i don't think we need to buy another superstar striker myself - we have cisse and morientes who are both class, then pongo who is going to be class and with baros going we just need a 4th for the ability to change things around. against every sensible fiber in my body i can't stop thinking that that crouchy fella might just fit the bill.

Pongolle i think will make the grade. People say sonmetimes hes not shrap in front of goal but i reemember he scored a goal against southampton this season and that was one deadly finish.

he had a great season and filled the void when we were in a heap of trouble w/ injuries and what not.  He did well and will be a good squad player to hold onto.

im gonna change the flow abit here and suggest that perhaps his future lies as a right winger. dont get me wrong i still hold hopes of him becoming a decent striker too but i just like the look of him when hes out wide, tricky and pacy and not afraid to track back too

Pongolle looks like he could be class. Just needs to beef up and prove his ability consistantly. I doubt Mellor will contribute to the 1st team again.

We should never forget the part both of these players played on the other night we were 3 - 0 down at half time

We were 1-0 down, but needed 3 to win...they did play a massive part though.

Both must be given a chance and start with our seniors Ciise and Morientes.

Then wen can know how the players adapt.

Bu substitution, they guys wont have much to show as they now they cant do much.
Whereas any damage caused can be repaired by substituting them and making some adjustments.

Then only we will know whther sinama and mellor has potential or are just splash in the pan.

Haven't been impressed with him, he's had his chance, that said, Rafa might get something out of him.

I prefer Mellor.  His superb goals against Leverkusen and Arsenal are the reasons.  I think he'll suprise a few folks.  Seems to have a cool head around the net.
