Overall, i'd sell Cisse, Morientes, release Fowler and bring in 3 new strikers....1 being Owen.

1) I don’t know one person that said Fowler is going to be the Fowler of old, and if someone did they need help.

2) I’m quiet sure Fowler isn’t on £45,000 a week. I thought he was on £30,000 a week with Leeds paying half of it? So £15,000 a week on a 6 month contract is good business.

At the end of the day, were paying Fowler about 15/20K, his on a low risk 6 month contract and he is an improvement on what we have, considering all that it seems like it is a good deal.

And I wouldn’t be against giving him a year by year contract depending on how he does.

he was on 45k a week at city with leeds paying 15k of  that......we've taken over his contract so that is the same here until the summer where leeds don't have to pay anymore money because the contract (he was on at leeds) will be finished.

He was on 30k at Manchester City. He's now on 14k from us and 11k from leeds. Next season to keep him he'll have to earn a 25k a year deal, so far, so good.

He's playing well, setting up chances, showing good movement, playing in an unselfish mannor and is starting to find a bit of form. His play without scoring has been very good in the two games he's started and he's looked pretty much the same player as when we sold him give or take 5%.

He'll get chances and score goals, not only that, but he'll contribute to the alround play. Morientes contributes to the play slightly, Cisse is a SLIGHT goal threat, Crouch contributes to the play alot. Fowler will contribute and score more than Sissy and Morientes. I think he's got alot to offer and so far after two games, he's ramming the words of the people who doubted him back down there throat.

No member of this forum know the exact figure Robbie is paid, but one thing we can be sure of is it will be not a penny more than Rafa thinks he deserves, and thats good enough for me.

True, so I cant see us paying him 30K a week. And money wont be an issue with Fowler, he just wants to play for LFC, and also he is filthy rich!
