I think Kewell is improving, the key to his form is fitness - get him fit and he'll perform. I think Kewell will score this weekend, he was unlucky not to score against Palace. West Ham tend to concede goals so maybe this could be a good game for us right now?

Or maybe not the way we're playing......! :D

Was it just me or was he actually trying to dribble past the two defenders and not put Cisse through? I found it hilarious when i watched it. He's improving and yes his shot was quite bad, but let him regain his match fitness and sharpness and I think we will all be glad we saw him through this rough patch

A little harsh, judgy me old mate....  The first 6 months he did well, and scored about 13 or 14 goals.

He's been cr@p since he got injured the first time in the his first season, but I think (hope) he will come good!!

To me he looked quite good last night. It was just his shot that let him down.

Is Kewell playing in the reserves also to boost his match fitness and sharpness?

I think he looks exactly what he is at the moment, a player coming back from a long-term injury who is gradually feeling his way in. He has shown some good touches but we knew he had those. He has shown good awareness but we knew he had that. What he hasn't shown yet, and we can wait for this, is desire. Ultimately, a player as talented as Kewell will either make it or not depending on how much he wants it. If he can find from within that burning passion for the game he had as a 12 year-old when he played for fun, then we'll have a star. If not, then he'll run his contract down and move on.
