Leon and then you seemed to be following him (Sheep or the one following mate ? ) :D

The topic headline is styling or sensible, hinting at why did Rafa change a winning formula and, well win another game  :D

So Leon is within his rights to defend Rafa but it seems like that is not really the way this forum is going.

After the numerous digs at happy clappers and the thought police, it seems to me that any attempt to praise the manager for being joint top of the league is ridiculed, or patronised by internet posters who seem to think that if rafa had listened to them we would be defending the league now instead of trying to win it.

Or in the league played 12 scored 12 which may be even better ?

If that's the defeat to Barnsley in Feb 2008, then it's 11 played and scored in 8 for the Premiership.

Still not bad, I spose.

23-02-2008 Liverpool 3-2 Middlesbro     3 goals
02-03-2008 Bolton 1-3 Liverpool       0 goals
05-03-2008 Liverpool 4-0 West Ham     3 goals
08-03-2008 Liverpool 3-0 Newcastle     1 goal
15-03-2008 Liverpool 2-1 Reading        1 goal

30-03-2008 Liverpool 1-0 Everton    1 goal

13-04-2008 Liverpool 3-1 Blackburn    1 goal
04-05-2008 Liverpool 1-0 Man City    1 goal
11-05-2008 Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool    1 goal

But I'm still not convinced about it being right for Liverpool this year. Scoring in 8 games is not that conclusive for me.

Whether we won or lost, whether you agree or not with the changes, its all open to discussion on a LFC discussion forum surely? Calling someone an idiot for disagreeing with Rafa ? FFS half the board have disagreed with Rafa at some point! I know I have!....... On this occasion I think Rafa if he didn't get it 100% right still got it right enough that we won, but maybe next time its me saying he got it wrong.

So he played 11 scored 12, only failed to score in 3 games ......against the mancs away (when we played half the game with 10 men) Arsenal away(when he only played for the last 9 minutes ) and Bolton away (when he came off early after our third goal)

And thats not bad I spose

Is a topic ruined just because you challenge someone ?

I only used the language employed by the poster I was disagreeing with.

Sometimes people get too obsessed with wether or not people are fighting/arguing/engaging in a flame war to actually involve themselves in the discussion.

Who's the bigger idiot?

The sheep or the one following it?

The one following what ?

You called Rafa an idiot, I suggested you where more of an idiot.

But he played 33 games last season. Now I can't remember when Liverpool went over to a 756432 1 (or whatever) formation, but that means he had a partner for the rest (or most) of the games and he scored 12 goals in 9 of those.

Who's being negative?    ???

I am simply of the opinion that 1 striker up front isn't good for Liverpool this year.

Rafa probably feels the same, otherwise Liverpool would be 20 mil the richer.  :;):
