Posted: Tue Aug 28, 2007 9:59 pmComfortable. Really the most appropriate word I can use to sum this one up. We didn't play particularly that well, but still managed to mute any sort of attack (was there any?) from Toulouse, who were, to be honest, very poor. It goes to show, our squad is amounst the strongest around, anywhere. Kuyt and Crouch, if I'm honest, frustrated the life out of me. They really should be scoring more goals between them for all their endeavours. Yossi had a brilliant game, and the combination of Mascherano and Sissoko in the middle looked rock solid and would be a test for any side to get through.
Big Sammi is a f*ckin legend! And I really can't believe many on here wanted Momo to be offloaded during the summer. Absolutely rediculous. The fella is leathal and is my choice of MOTM. I'm glad we kept him.
