Posted: Sat Sep 23, 2006 2:54 pmSolid performance today. Reina had no work to do really, but made better decisions today when coming off his line. Definitely look strong at home, just need to improve our away form. i think we have had a disadvantage playing so many away games (3) at the start of this season, compared to the Mancs for example! teams gelling better now we have had a chance to train together without interruptions of internationals etc.

Bellamy just needs some confidence and he will pull through, Dirk Kuyt looks to be our best striker and his goal today was top class, great take and excellent power finishing.
Riise's goal was an absolute peach, and well I think we have missed him, and not just his striking abilities!
