Cheers for that Stoney.  That goal where he took the free kick with his right foot, the wall blocked it and then he smacked it in with his left is a cracker.  The guy does look genuinely two-footed.

However, like Stu says, I'm just not sure he's good enough to be honest.  I think that similar to Garcia he'll turn it on when he feels like it but will disappear a lot especially away from home.  He'd no doubt be an improvement down the right as we actually have no right winger, but for 10-12 million I'm just not sure he's worth it.

However Benitez looks like he's going to get him so I hope he does the business for us.

Talking about left & right footed players, did anyone see the U21 game the other night?  France's Franck Ribery (Marseille) was brilliant.  Apparently, Spurs are going to make a £1M bid for him.  He might he worth taking a look at!

I watched bits of both legs and he was the best player on both nights.
If it was 1 million then we should snap up without doubt, 1 million is peanuts, and he looked pretty strong as well as brilliant with the ball.

Thanks for that mate.

Some absolute crackers in there.

He does look 2 footed...and i loved the goal were he nudged the defender over then bent it in the keepers top left corner.

Simao can play on both the left and right wing so yeah must be two footed. That strike where he smacked it into the top corner with his left boot after the failed inital free kick attempt. Absolute quality  :bowdown

Pretty sure he signed for Galatasaray last summer, but they didn't pay him for a few months so he was allowed leave on a free. He's actually had 5 previous clubs but the first three were lower league teams and he was moving his way up the league to a team of a higher standard.

Top class prospect though. Apparently there was about 15 scouts from major teams in the stadium the other night watching him.

Santiago Munez from Newcastle.

Heard he was a rare talent and brought into England from local leagues in Mexico.

I think we should give him a shot. He shouldn't be worth more than a couple of million, seeing that Newcastle have so many talents at their disposal.
