It's been so long since I saw him play without injury I am not sure if this is a new development or not, but he seems a good yard off the pace in general.

Can you guys enlighten me as to whether this is due to the lack of match fitness, or whether he was never the fastest.

Personally I thought he showed more fight last night than he has done and could have scored a couple. Ok, he's not the finished product yet, but he was improved imho

HK was one of the positives out of liverpools performance last night. He did fight for the ball more and also looked most likely to score until he came off!!

scott, kewell jumped into many challanges last night by dragging his knees up defensively, or stopping short of making a decisive challange.

now, if you think he was one of the positives last night, then thats probably why we lost  :sniffle

BTW, Crouch has been doing everything Rafa has asked of him.  It's not his fault that he has no support - and any of the knock downs have been squandered.  I'd like to see him and Cisse play together regularly for at least 4-5 games, before he's criticised

so if crouch does everything asked of him, why hasnt he scored?
he must have been asked to score, considering he is a striker?!?!?!?!

on a serious note, kewell is just back from injury and is not looking as bad as everyone says. give him a chance, maybe the tatctics should change, not the players

If he got his hair cut he might stop fiddling with it, and get on and do the job he is very well paid for.

I thought kewell played a lot better last night,he was more positive on the ball,as was morientes, i was a bit :censored: off when rafa subbed them, and i never thought i would say that.Ithink we will see a better harry kewell over the next few weeks as he gets more match fitness.
