Kash Mountain: Don't worry, nothing important, he'll even be in Santander against USA!!! not true he has been seriously injured. He just missed a training session.

I don't expect Torres to be our main striker, I am hoping that Benitez sees him more as the creative second striker that we have sorely missed, with Kuyt played further forward getting the bulk of the goals.

:D  :D  Go ed kuyt my son!! Pick up yer golden boot!!

Oh how wrong were some of us, i must say i was one of them

If only they had listened to me  :D

I was reading that they thought Torres was just tired Sabre and needed a rest before the tournament started in case he "hit the wall" ?

You know that a piece of our hearts is now with Liverpool, so we like you tell to us the evolution of Fernando in this season.

Thousand of atletico fans are now Liverpool supporters, and you're going to have a lot of spanish people (bad english speakers as me) in your forum.

GOOD LUCK FOR THIS SEASON.

One question: What name are going to have Fernando The kid, The boy or el niño?

'el nino' and 'the kid' both sounds nice to me...

I prefer 'el nino' though... sounds more bad- :censored:...

how bout 'el nino the kid' ?

It could be "El Kid"

But, if I have to be honest, it's about time he's not the kid any more, hope he is "the man".

:rasp

Well, in a free kick competition I suppose you wouldn't want to hit the wall  :D.  But I don't think they are talking about that one  :p .

Ok, I think I contradicted myself here when we got him, I dont remember doing that though lol!

My optimism does come true :D

bigmick wrote:On the question of anticipation and Torres, IMHO only a fool would expect him to come in and score heavily, quite simply because he hasn't done that in his career previously. If he can get into double figures in the Premiership and contribute eight or nine assists, that will be an excellent return in his first season. These lads who are banging on about 26million therefore we want 26 goals are at best being optimistic, and at worst talking out of their @rse.

and how foolish we were :D

Spain using a lone striker, around halftime I expect Torres on the bench and Villa out.

Actually, I don't speak chinese.  So I'm not sure if its lone striker or not  :p
