yeah he did. he also axed mendieta who was the captain and probably the best midfielder in europe at the time.

can't argue with his decisions though. he won the title in his first season.

I would go for that Madman.

Emre is only 24 or 25 and for a little fella is quite tough and physical, probably due to him being brought up in Turkey.

He is also very good with the ball at his feet, and very agile - he gets fouled an awful lot as knows how to beat players very well. His passing and first touch is also excellent.

Emre would be a player who would defo do well for us IMO, and have actally been linked with him b4 as he has said he wants to move to England.

I say sign him Rafa!
:)

If we can get Kily, I'd take him. He knows how to play tough football and he knows how to play fast paced football. I'm still a fan of Riise, however one dimensional he is (hey, if that dimension scores goals, why would you want another?), but If Kily is available, why not? I wouldn't spend big on him, but if the price is right, we need depth and flair. Bring him on.

I use to think that Gonzales is a very strong player that win the midfield battle (that what I used to see from him from watching La Liga)... But don't know these days...

Kily Gonzalez heading to Anfield? No doubt he is a very experience player, a player that has played at highest level of football. He has the nesscesary depth and knowledge of the game. Gonzalez is already in his 30s, are we looking at a short term or long term success?

Beside, the EPL is a totally different league. Gonzalez might just end up like crespo.
