Selling diouf

There's a tiny paragraph in the Daily Mail today (I didn't buy it, ok)  which says:

The chances of El-Hadji Diouf making his move to Bolton permanent look to have been scuppered by Liverpool's £5m asking price for the 'striker'.

I reckon we get 2.5m absolute tops but it's good to get the ball rolling on that muppet's exit.

I'm sure when his loan deal comes to an end they'll start dishing out the real money and we may get 4 million for him.  Remember that when we wanted Morientes we valued him a 3.5 million and real had him a 7, we ended up paying 6, so hopefully we canget some money out of em.

why oh why did houllier pay 10million for him?
add 5muil for Diao to that and you have 15 million,

Think of who you can get for 15 million, beyond belief.

Hindsight a wonderful thing Scott......

When we signed 2 times African footballer Of the year Diouf and one of the stars of the 2002 World Cup in that fateful summer a lot of Fans were over the moon and saw it as an excellent signing.

After scoring twice on his debut we thought mistakenly we had bought a world star.

It started to fall apart in that first leg against Celtic when Diouf spat at Celtic fans and to be hionest he never really recovered.

There are a few Botlon Fans who I know who think he is absolutly the business and maybe that wil persuade them to dig deep and pay up. For too long Bolton have been allowed to cry poverty and get players on the cheap  ???

It currently costs circa £26-28 to watch LFC at home , travel to so called impoverished Bolton and it wil cost you £38  :Oo:

I used to think we could just hold out or play him in reserve's but i think its now time to count our lose's and take whatever we can .Just the wage's alone will help us out at the moment

I'd be delighted if we could even get £2m for him, the main thing would be to terminate any connection between Liverpool FC and that little turd, and also stop paying him £20k a week

No one is going to pay 5million pounds for Diouf. Just think of what 5million will get you, there are alot of option outthere that is better than Diouf. But of course, if they are looking for a spiting machine, no one is more qualify than him.  :p

i is mad, 10 mill for diouff, but we brought him before the world cup and he could well have been a star, he played fantastic that tournament, then we played him on the wing.
who knows what would have happened. lots of ifs and buts, but i think we'll be extremely lucky to get 3 million for him now
