Did anyone one watch the reserve match highlights cause i think josemi played really well.He's got a lot of potential, i know he wasn't playing that well before he got injured but at the start of the season he showed that he can play well.

he is too hotheaded for me, doesnt think, just lunges into tackles, not quick enough and no positional awareness. i hope he does come good though

very bad disceplinary record. he looks like getting sent off in every game. i thought he was a gem after the spurs game but he kept getting caught offside

Whether he plays well or not, we cant drop Finnan for him to come back in the team, that would be a big mistake.

i dont think rafa would drop finnan for josemi. finnan playing very well and josemi well we havnt seen him play in the prem for a while. so yeah i agree with u cisse

Agreed... Finnan has claimed the spot as his own. Josemi can cover.

Oh my God! Do we actually have more than one competant player for a certain position? Could this be the first time since... well, I can't actually remember that we actually have decent cover for any position (other than left wing as we seem to have a lot of them) can this be true? wow...

josemi was quite impressive when he first joined because he actually showed a willingness to get forward and his style of defending was non nonsense.

however after a while, it became apparent that his positional awareness was completely inept and he would often give daft free kicks away around our own box.

Agreed Josemi was great at the begining of the season but seemed to lose tyhe plot after about 10 games, if he could just keep his kool and not dive in I'm sure he could be a great defender, one thing I will give the lad and thats he never pulls out of a tackle, just ask Ryan Giggs and that c**t Ronaldo :;):

and Marcus Bent, I sure did love the tackle he made on him.

Only becuase he was playing in a 'reserves' game so he'd have to stand out if you know what I mean. I hope Benni sends him back in a plane to Malaga.

Finnan Is miles better than josemi. I had my doubts when he came from malaga wether he was going to be a diouf/diao equivalent, but hes slightly better than them!!!

Josemi costs 2 million and i think we get our money worth, decent squad player who gets caught out with a lack of pace but his tackles are certainly welcomed.
Finnian certainly seems to have taken his chances, a lot of people were packing his bags for him pre season
